You are correct. Functionally, they are quite the same, but there are some differences that matter to me. I have used both wood and plastic weave-its and am looking specifically for the Weavettes brand. Thanks anyway for the offer.

The Weavette is an exact copy of the original Weave-It. The sette and construction are identical. Removed of their makers' marks, you'd be hard-pressed to distinguish between a 4" wooden Weave-It and its Weavette reincarnation. The plastic Weave-Its have rounded pins that are less likely to catch and split yarns.

I don't have any "Weavettes", but I have several of the original Weave-Its in both plastic and original wood. I'd also be happy to throw in a potholder loom, which is highly adaptable to portable projects and requires nothing sharper than a pair of scissors and a yarn needle. Want to discuss trades?
